A Huyton mum and daughter who run their own hair and beauty salon have been “overwhelmed” by the amount of new clients they’ve welcomed after lockdown.

The coronavirus pandemic had a major impact on the service industry and in some instances led to the permanent closure of independent shops, businesses, restaurants and more.

Post lockdown, many businesses are still finding their feet, but mother and daughter duo Lisa and Lois Preston have jumped back into business head first. As Directors of Lois Jane Hair & Beauty, a salon based on Longview Drive in Huyton, they’re both busier than they could’ve imagined.
